Located in the east-central metropolitan area of Fort Worth, the Meadowbrooks Golf Course is an 18 hole regulation facility and considered one of the top 25 municipal golf courses in Texas. The par 71 course plays to a length of 6,363 yards from the Championship (Blue) tees and 5,966 yards from the Regular (White) tees and play from the Forward (Red) tees is right at 5,000 yards. Meadowbrook has the most rolling terrain of the City's five golf courses, and based on the density of play for 18 holes, it rates as the busiest of the City's facilities. The greens and tees were re-grassed in summer of 2005, ongoing renovations are occurring to the clubhouse to create a covered pavilion. Winter 06-07 will see renovation of all bunkers and construction of new on-course restrooms.
