Welcome to the Minnechaug Golf Course website. MGC features one of the most exciting attractions in all of golf, an island green. Hole #8, a 126-yard, par 3, which some consider to be the first island green of its kind in the nation is a gem for all to see. The greens are challenging and smoother than ever. The tee boxes and fairways at Minnechaug are plush and in excellent shape due to the tremendous effort of superintendant Bryant Gregg and his staff. Graham Clark did the original routing for the course, and Al Zikorus and William F. Mitchell did some redesigns years later.
